Deshaun Harris creates pathways where barriers exist.
Founder of Intrusive Sports Agency and Between The Lines Entertainment, Deshaun operates at the intersection of representation, storytelling, and institutional change. At Intrusive, he pioneered equity-based NIL deals that gave athletes ownership, not just endorsements, and holds certifications from the NBPA, NCAA, and FIBA. At Between The Lines, he produces content that uncovers the careers and stories behind culture and the creator economy making invisible pathways visible and amplifying underrepresented voices.
In 2021, he founded the Joyce Harris-Cottman Externship Initiative, named after his great-grandmother who survived domestic abuse and became a nurse in 1980, changing their family's trajectory forever. The program creates pathways for HBCU students into sports leadership, building access where institutions have historically failed.
Deshaun has spoken at Harvard and USC Marshall, teaches at two universities, and is completing his PhD in Sports Leadership at Concordia University Chicago. He holds a Master's in Communications and Media Studies from California Baptist University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's in Sociology from UC San Diego. His work examines how power, access, and wealth are being redistributed in the modern sports economy.
